  • 1 lb flank steak
  • ¼ cup pineapple juice
  • ¾ tsp ground ginger
  • 2½ tbsp coconut aminos soy sauce alternative
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • ½ jalapeno pepper, diced
  • 2½ tsp minced garlic

Part of our Freezer Meal prep series, this pineapple ginger flank steak combines unique flavors for an appetizing and easy weeknight meal.

  1. Label a gallon-sized freezer bag with the recipe title and today's date
  2. Combine all ingredients except steak in unlabeled gallon-sized freezer bag.
  3. Remove 1/4 cup of the marinade from gallon bag and place in quart-sized freezer bag. Seal.
  4. Add steak to unlabeled gallon bag of marinade. Seal.
  5. Place quart-sized bag and meat bag inside labeled gallon-sized bag.
  1. Thaw.
  2. Remove steak from bag and discard leftover marinade from steak bag.
  3. Grill steak over medium-high heat until slightly pink on the inside or for 5-10 minutes per side.
  4. Brush reserved marinade over steak while grilling. Remove steak from grill. Let stand 5 minutes.
  5. Slice steak against the grain.
