  • 1 lb spaghetti, cooked two minutes less than package directions, drained
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 (24-ounce) jars marinara sauce, divided
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • Parsley, chopped, optional

This creamy, cheesy spaghetti casserole will feed the whole family.

Creamy, cheesy spaghetti casserole to feed the whole family.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef, onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Once browned, turn off the heat and drain the liquid. Mix in one cup of the marinara sauce.
  4. Add the cooked spaghetti to the remaining marinara sauce and toss to combine.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese in a bowl.
  6. Add half of the pasta to the bottom of a 13x9-inch pan. Use a spatula to add the cream cheese mixture to the pan, gently smoothing it down until it forms an even layer. Top with the remaining pasta/sauce mixture. Add the meat sauce mixture and top with remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly
