Back to Basics: How to Make a Pie Crust

This week on Back To Basics, Whitney shows us How to Make a Pie Crust. This recipe is sure to be your go to when baking this Holiday season.

Get the simple recipe below:

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • 2/3 cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar 
  • 1/4 cup ice water

          Directions:

          1. With electric mixer, beat butter flavored Crisco, flour salt & sugar just until crumbly.
          2. Add ice water as needed.
          3. Form into ball and roll out.
          4. Bake as directed per pie recipe.
