Homemade bread that doesn't require yeast!
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and beer and mix well. The mixture should be sticky when mixed properly.
- Pour batter mixture into a buttered loaf pan and bake for 52 minutes.
- Remove from oven, brush the top of the loaf with the melted butter, and return to the oven for 3 more minutes until golden brown.
- Note: For every cup of self-rising flour called for, replace with 1 cup cake flour, 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ½ teaspoon fine sea salt.
