Homemade bread that doesn't require yeast!

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can beer
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Homemade bread that doesn't require yeast!

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and beer and mix well. The mixture should be sticky when mixed properly.
  3. Pour batter mixture into a buttered loaf pan and bake for 52 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven, brush the top of the loaf with the melted butter, and return to the oven for 3 more minutes until golden brown.
  5. Note: For every cup of self-rising flour called for, replace with 1 cup cake flour, 1½ teaspoons baking powder and ½ teaspoon fine sea salt.
