Graham cracker crust, topped with key lime filling, fresh berries and bananas in a fun shield design.

  1. Combine graham crackers, brown sugar and butter together in medium bowl. Mix with a spatula to combine.
  2. Transfer the crust mixture to the tart pan (or round cookie sheet) and press to the bottom of it and slightly up the sides.
  3. Place in refrigerator while making the tart filling.
  4. Instructions for key lime tart filling:
  5. Place whipping cream, maple syrup and vanilla in cold electric mixing bowl. Mix on high for approximately one minute or until stiff peaks form. Do not over mix. Remove from bowl and set aside.
  6. In same bowl, add cream cheese and sugar. Beat until smooth.
  7. Add lime juice, lime zest and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  8. Add in half of the whipped cream. (Save other half for star decoration.) Beat on high until just combined and stiff peaks form.
  1. Remove graham cracker crust from refrigerator.
  2. Pile tart filling onto center of crust. Carefully work your way from the center out to spread the filling evenly over the entire crust. Leave about ½ inch of crust showing on the outer edge.
  3. For Captain America Shield Design:
  4. Line outer edge of crust with sliced strawberries.
  5. Moving inward, line tart filling with two rounds of sliced bananas.
  6. Create a second row of red on the inside of the banana with additional sliced strawberries.
  7. At this point you should have a small round area of open tart filling.
  8. With a knife, lightly trace a star pattern in the tart filling.
  9. Fill in the space outside of the star and between the strawberries with blueberries.
  10. Fill in the star area with whipped cream.
  11. Complete a second layer of fruit if desired.
