A flavorful bacon-filled waffle that is perfect for a delightful spring brunch.

- Preheat waffle iron.
- Cook bacon until crisp. Drain grease and pat dry.
- Allow to cool and then crumble (or cut) into small bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- Combine waffle mix, water and oil. Whisk together until large lumps are gone.
- Stir bacon pieces into batter.
- Spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray.
- Pour ½ cup (or recommended amount for waffle iron) on to waffle iron. Close iron.
- Allow to cook until waffle is medium brown. (Cooking time will vary based on size and temperature of waffle iron.)
- Carefully remove from waffle iron.
- Top with more bacon crumbles and syrup.
- Serve immediately
