Fresh Dish Foodie, Dylan, is throwing together a last minute appetizer - Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp.
Make sure you’re using peeled & deveined shrimp and gently toss them in your prepared marinade. Wrap them in bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Add some color and crisp by broiling 3-4 inches away from the heating element for about 5 minutes and serve while warm!

Ingredients:
Juice of one lemon
1 clove garlic, grated
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. fresh thyme
3 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
½ tsp. Kosher salt
1 lb. Aqua Star shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails on
12 slices bacon, halved
Directions:
- Whisk lemon juice, garlic, paprika, thyme, olive oil and ½ tsp. salt in a shallow baking dish.
- Add shrimp, tossing to coat.
- Marinate in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Remove shrimp from marinade and wrap one at a time in a piece of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
- Place seam side down on a baking sheet. Spoon on remaining marinade.
- Broil (3-4 inches from heating elements) turning the shrimp once until the bacon is slightly crispy, approximately 5 minutes.
