Thank you for participating in for our April Kids Club event. We love interacting with the kids each month. They are always so excited to make their own snack while they shop. Thank you to all the parents for helping them during the event.
Butterfly Snac-Pacs are a fun, springy way to enjoy a healthy snack. Want to make them at home? You’ll need the following supplies:
- Snack size plastic baggies (1 per snac-pac)
- Clothespins (1 per snac-pac)
- Glue
- Pipe cleaners (2 per snac-pac)
- Crayons and/or markers
- Googly eyes (2 per snac-pac)
- Red and/or green grapes
- Goldfish (or any other snack your kiddo likes)
DIRECTIONS:
To make the body of the butterfly, color the clothespin and glue on the eyes. For the body, fill the bag with your snack, seal the bag and twist it a couple of times to ensure that the snacks stay on their proper side. Snap on the clothespin over the snack. Stick antennae-shaped pipe cleaner into jaws of clip.
Also, don't forget to print out our April activities for kids to do at home! This month features a coloring sheet that teaches the three life stages of a butterfly and another butterfly snack using a piece of candy.
