What You Need:

  • 1 cup Boulevard Tank 7
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 pound shredded Emmi Emmentaler cheese
  • 1/2 pound shredded Alps Gruyere cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Pinch of nutmeg

What to Do:

  • In a fondue pot or a saucepan over medium heat, warm the Tank 7 and lemon juice.
  • While the Tank 7 and lemon juice solution is warming, toss the shredded cheeses in the cornstarch.
  • Once the beer and lemon juice solution is simmering, begin adding the cheese one handful at a time while stirring.
  • Wait for the cheese to melt into the liquid before adding the next handful – this gradual melting will ensure you have a silky texture at the end.
  • When all of the cheese has been melted, add the dry mustard and the nutmeg.
  • Serve immediately with bread, fruit and veggies.
